About Myself

My curiosity with photography started in high school with a film photography class and simultaneously in the school’s yearbook class. I was lucky enough to learn darkroom technique and developing film during that time. I carried that interest into college, studying at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. Where I expanded my knowledge with digital photography.

Living in San Francisco for those 8 years, I fell absolutely head over heels in love with the life of the city. The nightlife, the art and the people. During that time, I worked heavily in the restaurant industry & gained a new perspective of life and myself. I found the projects that I will continue to seek and evolve into my main work. A deeper, intimate gaze of the societal outlook & the lifestyle it creates around the hospitality industry and those obligated to it.

To be closer to aging family members and in hopes of a new outlook of my own projection in life, I moved back to Orange County, California in the winter of 2019. In that time, found myself managing & running my family’s small restaurant in Laguna Beach.

My passion lies with film & street photography. I seek to capture the soul in stillness and movement that surrounds myself and those around me. Thru film, digital and iPhone.

Currently, residing in Long Beach, California.
